Facebook: phasing out others

Since the first social networking website showed up on the Internet, finding and keeping friends on the Internet has never been easier. But it was Mark Zuckerberg who revolutionalised the social networking community when he launched Facebook in February 2004. Since Facebook was launched, the whole idea of networking with friends, relatives, co-works, students, even strangers has changed a lot. What started as just a profiling website for student has become a phenomenon all over the world.

FB has it is commonly called came to be. And ever since it has being growing rapidly, developing different kinds of features other social-networks never thought possible. It is not just about FB’s user friendliness that attracts multitude of users to FB. It is the multifaceted features that allow users to do virtually anything on the website. On FB users can give gifts to friends, post free classified advertisements and even develop their own applications - graffiti and Scrabble are particularly popular and the moment.

While other social-network communities like Myspace, Ning, Hi5, Friendster, Faceparty etc try to special on some aspects of networking, FB try to explore any feature available. This unique side of FB has made her the most popular social networking community at the moment. It is obvious that Mark Zuckerberg choose to flush other social-networking sites with his unique idea of sharing. Sharing just anything ranging from pictures to sharing of friends. While Youtube shares videos, FB shares anything at all that can be use as a gift to others.

It is not about emails, chatting or blogging now, Facebook if bigger than that. It is gradually phasing out other social-networking communities by its dynamic presentation of sharing, user friendliness, free classified adverts and wide range of accessibility. Personally, what I think is the killer strategy that makes facebook unbeatable is its educational undertone. Just anyone can profile his/herself with FB and such profile can serve as source of education for many. Also, several educative materials are being shared daily on FB. On FB, you can simply ask professional question and you will be sure to have a candid answer.

So far FB has registered about 30 million user, making it the largest social-networking site with an education focus. Facebook is a very strong competition in the social-networking community. Even the presence of well-financed networking sites like Youtube and twitter doesn’t seem to bother FB at all. Many social-networking sites have come and go, but it is obvious that FB has come to stay with all the features explored above.

Proven Income Opportunity on the Internet

There are alot of scams out there claiming that they have a proven income opportunity. I can’t totally disagree. However, when I was doing my research, I came across some amazing success stories of people who started looking online for some way to attain financial freedom and found out there are ways to actually make money from their passion. All this could be done on the Internet.

All I intend to do with this article is to prove to you that making money online is not all scam. I have proves that just anyone can earn cool cash online without defrauding anyone. Don’t kid yourself, it involves hard work and consistency. In this era of job scarcity and job insecurity, you can hide behind the unexplored opportunities on the Internet. Several opportunities to choose from; you can be your own boss and work from home if you so desire. I will prove to you that you can find a proven income opportunity online or offline for that matter.

During my research I stumbled upon a true story about the limitless opportunities out there. This story is about a guy named James from Michigan who at a very young age had to file bankruptcy while already owning an online business. James overcame alot and he ended up creating simple system called IBuzzIncome which allowed people to make money online without having to go through a huge learning curve.

I became pretty desperate to be one of James’ friends and learn the secrets to online success straight from the master himself. After several interviews, I know his system is a proven income opportunity. It was about making success looking easy and cheap, all the same it work like magic. James’ story is one great prove that creating incredible wealth online is possible and anyone can do it.

Another story I stumbled upon was that of the popular North Carolina Farm Boy. This is an awesome story of how a guy named Willie who grew up on a farm in North Carolina. He was a dirty poor boy who later went on to make $250,000 per year online. Believe me it is possible anywhere, even in Nigeria. Online opportunities can’t be limited by place. However, what is so neat about this story is how he makes money online. He took a passion of his which is soul food and turned it into a residual income stream that pumps out money each and every month.

What he did was that he created a cookbook which is always a proven income opportunity since people love to eat. An interesting fact about Willie is that his family was so poor that
he didn't even get to taste a piece of steak until the age of 14. I can promise you he can afford steak now. All he did was to pour his passion of soul food into a book that can help anyone to cook their own home-made soul food. His cookbook when unveiled online gave the book the biggest market ever, about 2 billion people. Willie was an automatic success who can afford all the steak he desires.

Use Willie's story as an example and brainstorm a book, video, CD or some piece of information and go make money with it. This is the easiest way to built up an unstoppable recurrent income for yourself even in a country like Nigeria that wouldn’t pay royalties. Online makes it possible for you to grab your royalties from your creative materials. We all have life experience that we can draw from, built materials like ebooks, CDs, Videos that the material online can help you share with millions of buyers who could find the help they needed from your experiences.

Let's say you have homeschooled your kids all the way until college. I know people would pay to learn tips and techniques from you on how to raise kids in a homeschooled environment. Or as an African you survived from a family of 25 kids who were all barefooted until their late teens. Many people will be willing to pay to know how you made it through. Maybe you had a unique way of reading for your exams and at the end of the day you had an unbeatable GPA. Many will want to know about your techniques and how you made it.

Alright, let's say you are great at cycling. You could take your experience and video tape yourself giving tips and techniques away as well. You then turn around and sell the DVD. Make sense? On the Internet, you can sell just anything. Don’t just sit around and complain, climb on this proven income opportunity call the Internet like most of us has done, here in Nigeria and turn your life around. To know how to go about it send a blank email to mrgreatworld@yahoo.com with the subject, Internet income Opportunities.

The truth remains that everyone has life experience(s) they can turn into proven income opportunities. Every experience that you survive is a secret moneybag you are overlooking. Therefore, the older you get the more experiences you are blessed with. How I wish retired elder statesmen who are only surviving on their meagre pension can maximize this opportunity and appraise their income. You have so much to share, start sharing and start earning.

I have often wondered what is wrong with our well learned Professors who are poor. They have all it takes to share and earn. I heard about the story of a college professor from Kentucky called Jim who developed the popular piece of software called Sitebuildit.

At first, you wouldn't think what I am about to tell you would be a proven income opportunity, however, Jim makes $97,000 per year selling juggling supplies online. You heard me right. Juggling supplies. Jim built out a site around a topic he was passionate about, juggling, and learned how to turn it into a proven money maker. Of course, anything at all can be sold online. Just package it well and it will yield you income again and again. It is ignorant to run a physical business and refused to launch into the bigger market online.

Another story that I came across was that of a guy named Femi from Lagos, Nigeria. He is currently known as "Big Deal Maker ". Femi was working as a consultant until he got laid off from work. Someone then told him about ebay (ebay is one of the biggest markets online) and he began selling household items on ebay for extra cash. What this means is that he will often get the picture of some household items he thinks people will buy and place them on sales on ebay with description of his product.

He then stumbled across an old house that one of his family members got when they purchased a plot of land. Femi, decided to put it on Ebay and sell it. He eventually found a buyer but at the last minute the deal fell through. Yeah, he sold it in dollars and his family member still had to keep the other part of the land.

However, Femi knew he was onto something selling antique real estate. He now makes a very good living selling typical African antique on ebay and with the recognition he has received, has become a bestselling author as well. He made it and he did it here in Nigeria, made by ebay. You have no idea what you are missing if your business is still running locally, with the power of a website or ebay to back it up. We can help you build a selling website with links to ebay for as low as N10,000, use the email above and start making cool cash.

This story is about turning lemons into lemonade. What can you do to come up with your own proven income opportunity? Here is how I come up with ideas to make extra money. I take a look at my current assets first. When I say assets, I am referring to contacts I have, money that I have access to as well as skills I know I am good at. Once you are armed with that information, you can begin to brainstorm money making opportunities.

There are tons of ways to make money online and off. However, they may not be right for you. You may find out after reading this article that you have a proven income opportunity already inside you.

9 Strategies to Make Money Blogging

The question "How to make money blogging" sits high on every blogger's mind.

In fact I received many questions on "How to make money blogging" when I conducted my first webcast to answer my subscribers' most pressing questions on Blogs and Rss.

You can make money Blogging in a number of ways, and in this article I share with you up to nine ways in which you can make money blogging.

1. Make Money Blogging by Selling Advertising Space

Before the advent of Blogs, we have e-zines and selling advertising space on ezines was a popular way to earn extra money. If you run your own Blog, you can let others advertise in your Blogs with banner ads, solo ads, sponsor ads, classifieds and so on.

Now that we have Blogs, you can repeat the same business model that e-zine publishers do, that of selling advertising space.

One popular advertising company that helps Bloggers look for advertisers is Blogads (www.Blogads.com).

Besides placing advertisers ads on your Blog, you can also make money Blogging by placing Google Adsense into your Blog.

In my "Marketing Rampage with Blogs and RSS" Videos, I show you how you can customize your Blog template to include the Google Adsense into your Blog template so that you can make money blogging.

2. Make Money Blogging by providing technical services such as Blog hosting or setting up Blog

You can also earn money blogging by providing technical services such as helping people to set up their Blogs or providing your own Blog hosting service.

One example of this is www.typepad.com . This is a Blog hosting service provider that charges a monthly fee. Typepad lets you create your Blog and they will host your Blog for you, and provide you with a number of Blog features.

3. Make Money Blogging by setttin up joint venture marketing

Joint Venture marketing is a powerful marketing strategy employed by many top online marketers.

Basically how joint venture works is this: You promote person B's products to your subscriber and customer list, and you get a cut from whatever sale that follows from this promotion.

You can apply the principle of joint venture marketing to Blogs as well. If you have a substantial readership to your Blog, you can also promote or endorse certain products to your Blog readers and this way, and split the profits from the sales generated. This is another way to make money blogging.

4. Make Money Blogging from using the Membership model

Over time, if your blog has lots of postings and provide good quality content, you can consider turning it into a membership site and charge access for it, again giving you another avenu

5. Make Money Blogging by turning your products into

Another way in which you can make money blogging is to repackage your Blog contents into an e-book or an audio product and sell it. For example, if you run your own Podcasting show or an 'online radio show', you can easily compile your podcast recordings into a CD compiliation and sell it.

6. Earn Money Blogging by swapping blogs

You've heard of ad swapping when it comes to e-zine publishing, where publishers publish each other's ads in their own e-zines. This way, you save on adveritising costs.

You can repeat the same model to Blogs, as swap ads on Blogs as well. So instead of paying up front, you get to save, which means more money for you to spend!

7. Earn Money Blogging by turning yoyr blog content into RSS feeds and sell it as premium feeds

Your blog contents can be turned into an RSS feed. If the content is good, you can look for web businesses that are looking for good content for related topics and sell their feed to them.

8. Make Money Blogging by well, asking!

Hey, who's stopping you from putting a PayPal donation jar or button on your Blog? After all, there are lots of generous people out there you know.

9. Make Money Blogging as an Affiliate Marketer

Another way you can make money blogging is by promoting other people's products on your Blog. This is also known as affiliate marketing.

In affiliate marketing, you get paid a commission when someone clicks on your affiliate link and makes a purchase. Depending on the subject of your Blog, you can recommend products that solve people's problems.

For example, I had a subscriber who asked me how she can blog about cats and make money from blogging about cats.

I shared with her that firstly, perhaps she might want to go niche instead of targeting the broad category of "cats", and using the example of a Persian cat, which is a niche by itself, she can start a blog on Persian cats, providing valuable information as well as recommended solutions and products to the upkeep and maintenance of Persian cats.
